BlizzCon 2016’s release dates have been announced, the event will take place November 4 – 5 in Anaheim, California as has been confirmed by Blizzard Entertainment.
The event brings fans of World of Warcraft, Diablo, StarCraft and Overwatch together for two days of panels, announcements and demos proceeded by the traditional pre-BlizzCon charity dinner, where the wealthier among the fans can get amongst developers and artists for a cool $750. The 2016 StarCraft 2 World Championship Series, the 2016 Hearthstone World Championship, the Heroes of the Storm Fall Championship, and the 2016 World of Warcraft Arena World Championship are just some of the eSports global finals to be held at the event.
BlizzCon is also offering a Virtual Ticket for those unable to make the event physically. Fans will be able to view the entire event via a multi-channel livestream, and also have the option to purchase a limited edition BlizzCon Goody Bag to mark the occasion while supplies last. Blizzard will be releasing more information on this virtual ticket in the future.
The annual event not only marks 25 years of Blizzard Entertainment, but is also the 10th fan-focused event held by the company. Tickets are priced at $199 and will go on sale in two batches: firstly on April 20 7pm PT and then again on April 23 10am PT. Tickets for the pre-BlizzCon charity dinner will be available April 27 at 7pm PT.
