Copies of Naughty Dog’s much awaited Uncharted finale have hit eBay this morning as lucky consumers in the UK and some parts of Germany have snatched the game up two weeks before its official release date. With UK retailer CEX having sold a copy of the game on the high street, and Amazon reportedly jumping on the international shipping too soon, there’s a handful of copies out there at the moment with more supposedly on the way.
The lucky few have been reporting no problems with the single player campaign, though DLC and multiplayer are both offline. A few frame-rate drops apparently get in the way a little, but overall you can’t complain about a two week head start.
Amazon’s problem is perhaps a little easier to understand than CEX’s. Screen grabs from UK and German Amazon services have shown the games to be dispatched, with expected delivery dates being April 26th. With Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End initially set for release today, the slip up seems less puzzling – the memo apparently never reached Amazon.
Uncharted 4 is available to the rest of us May 10th.
