A few months ago we interviewed Dan Da Rocha, one of the creative minds behind out-of-university independent video game developing team Fiddlesticks. Having previously wiped the floor with puzzler Q.U.B.E, they’re back with colour-manipulating puzzle platformer Hue.
Playing as titular character Hue, players must seek their lost mother in a grayscale world while learning to master the mysterious colours they find along the way. Changing the colour spectrum of the platform world around you will make unnoticed game elements apparent and prove instrumental to exploring this saturated world. The game even comes with full colour blind support using icons instead of varying shades.
Hue will hit PS4, Vita, Xbox One, and PC on 23rd August and will be available for cross buy via PS Store at $14.99 though will sport some motivational release discounts.
