A new leak confirms Assassin's Creed Origins Egypt setting as well as new gameplay features and an October release date!
I know I was certainly disappointed when Ubisoft announced their annual game release schedule earlier this year. After the catastrophe of Unity, a yearly release would push for more unfinished titles shunted forward for the sake of the deadline. It would also mean more hard-earned cash heading straight into Ubisoft's pockets for these lesser games. See Also:... Continue Reading →
Today, Ubisoft announced the existence of their Ezio Assassin's Creed collection. The notion had previously been shrouded in rumour until several leaks from both the Korean Ratings Board and a French blog outed it a couple of months ago. The bundle headed for PS4 and Xbox One in November looks set to include Assassin's Creed II, Assassin's Creed... Continue Reading →
The hero from the rubble narrative is one used perpetually in AAA gaming. Players see their character given weapons, deployed in missions, rewarded as a hero, and ultimately leading the way in the fight against whoever you're fighting against. It's the 'specialness' paradox that has come to form its own school of criticism within the... Continue Reading →

We now have confirmed names for screenwriter and producer on the project. Aaron Berg... Continue Reading →
Three more games were added to the Xbox One's popular backwards compatibility program. Assassin's Creed (2007) joins Assassin's Creed II on the roster, alongside Dark Void and Grid 2. Xbox's backwards compatibility program began last year, and has since proved immeasurably favourable with the fans. It's seen 360 titles like Halo, Fallout, Gears of War, and The Witcher benefit from added features on the Xbox One system such... Continue Reading →
In a press release today, Ubisoft proudly announced that The Division is the fastest-selling game in its history. It was to be expected, as after the beta went live 6.4 million players logged into the servers - making it the industry's biggest ever beta for a new game brand on a current generation. Without any specific numbers... Continue Reading →
Ubisoft have gotten bold with their movie-making recently. Despite the original motion picture not reaching theatres until December, there's evidence to suggest that a second one is in the works. That takes some serious confidence in your product, though Assassin's Creed (the movie) is looking like a welcome departure from the cheesey laziness we've seen... Continue Reading →
Those first few eager little bunnies to download Batman: Arkham Knight must have been seriously concerned for their PC's health. 30fps stutters and random pauses on a 2015, highly anticipated AAA game? It must be a problem on my end. Then, more and more people started complaining. Not unlike the T-Rex water scene in Jurassic... Continue Reading →
